Comparing to embroidered patches, woven patches are made with even thinner and fine threads which enable to show the detail and small lettering and they are good for showing detail. It give the clean and crisp graphic on the patches.

Although embroidery looks less flat, some customs like 3D effect, That’s the reaosn why the smallest embroidery letter in about 5 mm. The easiest way to distinguish between woven patch and embroidered badge is to see whether the pattern is flat or raised.
